Teen Programs

While our programs are open to all ages, we would like to offer events specifically for North Salem teens. Please let us know what interests you. Would you like:

a book discussion group?

a writing group?

an open mike night?

movies?

gaming?

crafts?

lectures?

opening the library to teens on a regular night?

And let us know how we can best communicate with you. Would you like a blog? Do you tweet?

In the meantime, please continue to come in and volunteer at the library. We need your help!

Night Time Arts
Night Time Arts with Maggie Zander Orling
Monday nights at 7:00 - no registration - newcomers welcome

Please come and check out our Monday night art workshops!

It is an informal get  together for people who love to create. Bring your own project or work on one of our on-going ones. We make altered books (please check out the exhibit in the case) and do collage, knitting, painting and artist trading cards.

No artistic experience is required - we have plenty of art supplies and friendly inspiration. There are always  lots of laughs and even occasionally baked goods or chocolate.

Our current group project is a 5" x  5" book based on the theme RED.
